NEC Aspire IP
The NEC Aspire IP is the first pure converged IP system on the market today. The aspire IP allows you to converge your voice and data networks and enjoy the many advantages of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) while enjoying the hundreds of features you have come to expect from traditional digital/analog switching.
The Aspire IP gives you a choice: Deploy traditional circuit switched technology, VoIP or both, all from the same system. The Aspire allows you to perform peer-to-peer switching which means the stations participating in the call are connected directly to each other through the IP network. The signal travels through the IP network but does not travel through the switch as they do in traditional telephony allowing you to place calls over the data network thus reducing long distance charges.
